Acquisition Summary
Ovintiv has completed the acquisition of certain Montney assets in the Wembley, Alberta, area from Advantage Energy Ltd.
As a result of this acquisition and the transition of operatorship, suppliers should direct invoices for the acquired assets as follows.
As of calendar date September 11, 2026:
- Suppliers should direct tickets and invoices for service/activity dates prior to September 11, 2026, to Advantage Energy Ltd.
- Suppliers should direct tickets and invoices for service/activity dates September 11, 2026, and forward, to Ovintiv Canada ULC.
- For invoices spanning both periods, the last service/activity date on the invoice will determine the appropriate billing party.
- Invoices submitted to the incorrect party may be returned with instructions to resubmit to the appropriate company.
