Spotlighting Ovintiv™ honorees for 2020 STEP Ahead Awards

Ovintiv™ leaders Vineeta Maguire, vice president, supply management services, and Kim Williams, vice president, environment, health and safety/regulatory/security, were recently named honorees for The Manufacturing Institute’s 2020 STEP Ahead awards.

Williams has been with Ovintiv for 20 years and Maguire approximately 15 years. Combined, the two have more than 50 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

The STEP Ahead awards acknowledge women in science, technology, engineering and production careers who exemplify leadership within their companies and communities. They recognize the women who are making a difference in the areas of advocacy, mentorship, engagement and leadership.

The eighth annual STEP Ahead awards will take place April 30, 2020, in Washington, D.C., and will recognize 100 honorees and 30 emerging leaders. Prior to the awards ceremony, the honorees are invited to attend a two-day professional development program that further encourages mentoring and support of the next generation of female talent.
